In 2020, the subject “Nature Conservation Management of Forests in the Great Plain” was also announced for the students of the Georgikon Faculty of Nature Conservation at Szent István University.
The subject held in the Forest Training Center in Peszér-forest.
During the three-day (September 3-6) internship, the students got acquainted with the invasive tree species in the Peszér-forest, their management methods, as well as the OAKEYLIFE project and the diverse natural values and conservation opportunities here.
Participants were introduced to the vegetation-dynamic model of the calcareous sand-forest-steppe complex in lectures.
