In the second half of June, flowering of marsh gladiolus peaked, in case of two populations that have survived for present days in the Peszér-forest.
The marsh gladiolus is one of the species with a very reduced herd size that we want to re-plant in suitable habitats (partly restored during the project activities). The new populations thus created will greatly contribute to reducing the chances of total extinction.
We hope that the marsh gladiolus population in the Peszér-forest can return to a favorable nature conservation situation again.
