We waited for the children in the Kecskemét Arboretum on the 2nd and the 4th October during the Week of Forest events.
At three stations, the children were introduced to the lowland plantation, the situation of the Great Plain oak forests, including the OAKEYLIFE program, the fauna of the Danube-Tisza region and plant-paints.
The staff of KEFAG Kiskunság Forestry and Wood Industry Co. presented the activities what foresters do every day.
In addition children could play with interesting games and do exercises and play sports.
The OAKEYLIFE program rewarded groups with educational posters and bird feeders.
(We met 6 kindergartener groups and 9 school groups, a total of 441 children.)
