In July 2019, many colleagues from the Podijí National Park spent 5 days in the Peszér-forest to gain professional experience.
We first presented our methods for the selective, chemical control of invasive tree species. We have been developing these methods for several years.
During the networking activities of the OAKEYLIFE project, we pay attention to presenting these methods to other professionals, so that we can contribute to the success of their work for the preservation of natural values.
Based on feedback from Czech colleagues, they have already started using these methods in their own national park this year, adapting them to local conditions.
